Cultivated in the Kagoshima Prefecture in Japan, this tea is hailed as one of the truest expressions of Japanese teas. It has been a prominent part of Japanese culture, specifically used for ceremonial purposes and recognition of special guests.

Japan Sencha Kakagawa is a loose leaf green tea harvested in Japan.

 

Hot brewing directions: Steep 1 heaping teaspoon of tea in 8 ounces of water at 180 degrees Fahrenheit for 4-5 minutes.

Cold brewing directions: Steep 1 heaping teaspoon of tea in 6-7 ounces of water at 180 degrees Fahrenheit for 5 minutes. Add to a 12-ounce glass with ice.
